The stairs. Stairs are great. Stairs are convenient. Stairs usually mean that walkways and bridges are still around and haven't... rotted away or been eaten or something.

... I get the feeling it would be more complicated to explain than I really want to. We do have elevators on this caravan, you realize? The lifts that take us between levels in the towers?
