[Bonnie's voice isn't unpleasant, but she's not exactly a classically trained singer. Still, what she lacks in skill, she more than makes up for in enthusiasm]

Dark in the city, night is a wire. Steam in the subway, earth is afire! (Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo). Woman you want me? Give me a sign and catch my breathing even closer ( Read more... )

I don't know what--

Panic on the streets of London, panic on the streets of Birmingham. I wonder to myself--could life ever be sane again? The Leeds side-streets that you slip down, I wonder to myself--hopes may rise on the Grasmere, but Honey Pie, you're not safe here.

[pause]

I don't know.

I don't think we need to worry too much. It's--

Take me out tonight. Take me anywhere, I don't care. I don't care, I don't care.

[there is a decent sized, awkward pause here.]

What I meant was--

Don't--don't you want me? You know I don't believe you when you say that you don't need me. It's much too late to find when you think you've changed your mind.

[Another awkward pause. Bonnie clears her throat, pauses, and clears her throat again.]

I meant--oh, nevermind.
