Tomorrow is the big (little) knee surgery. I'm so excited for it to be OVER WITH, because then I can stop talking about it! I must be the most annoying person in the world, constantly using this stupid knee injury as an excuse for not going places/doing things/attending meetings/being in the office/etc

Surgical recoveries are weird -- the one for my tonsilectomy seemed really long, as did the one for my wisdom teeth removal, the one for my laproscopy in 2004 was horrible, the one for my appendectomy was horrible (although not as horrible as the laproscopy) plus totally full of anxiety, and the easiest by far was the C-section. It wasn't *easy* per se, and was made harder by breastfeeding and babycare, but overall I would say that it was among the easiest...
