You know I follow a lot of fandoms. And I have to say that this is one of the worst in terms of bitchy people. If its not members on groups, it's the moderators/admins. I mean really people. We don't get any tangible gains from this. Just fun. So when it becomes non-fun it becomes pointless! Due to the controversial recast everyone seems to have gotten their panties in a twist. There are the ones spewing hatred for a guy who is just doing his job and didn't sabotage anyone's career. Then there are the ones who while supporting this guy...beat down anyone who just doesn't think he's the messiah after not even half an hour's worth of his acting. And mods/admins lording it over the lesser mortals by refusing to follow basic rules of courtesy and then bitching about it to anyone who will listen. Ugh. At this rate no group is ever going to grow to a non-joke level.

It's just par for the course with fandoms. Some like the changes and some don't. It's really up to the community to not tolerate the behavior, and I think our little pocket of the WilSon fandom is mostly level headed. We have disagreements, but we're never at the level that that poster got to.

I think we're just too distracted by the shirtlessness to care. ;)

Well if someone posted crap last night then the fandom has reached that level, lol. The best behaved fandom I have seen myself is the Supernatural/J2 Fandom. There is a little friction at times due to Wincest but other than that...lol. Good.

Glad to see this. Saw that comment last night and had to figuratively walk away as to not make things worse by replying. I do enjoy being part of this community and hope that those ~select few can learn how to act like human beings sometime soon. Thanks for everything that you do around here, Mavencree.

Yeh I saw the comment and the thing that bugged me about it was no-one had or was compairing the two but the way they were commenting was just so ugh damn annoying.

But I can totally totally understand you having to go the Members Only option for Episode post's

I think in past experience with another pairing when we have Live Watches for Lure those entries were locked but this was over 4 or more years ago so my memory is a bit hazy on the exact details there.
