Nottingham is full of strangers with the Fair and so one more won't cause any excitement.

The fights haven't started yet but they will soon and there's something to see every where.

"Do I look okay?" Shay asks as he heads through the door.

He's got himself a black leather jerkin, some soft boots, loose hose and a long sleeved shirt. The Sirius Brace on his wrist is a bit out of place, given that it's technology from several hundred years into the future, but it's kept mostly hidden under his clothes.

"Yessir. When do the fights start?"

[will_scarlett]

"Depends what sort ye like, with a staff or bare 'anded."

[arkham_pups]

"Bare handed," Shay says. "I mean, I'm not exactly an expert boxer, but I've never used a staff, so it makes more sense."

[will_scarlett]

"Then na too long."

Will turns them towards the area with more fighters and a sense of anticipation as men are posturing.

"Do I have to sign up anywhere?"

[will_scarlett]

"Just give yer name to that fellow."

Will points over to a tired looking man who is listening to fighters reel off how good they are.

[arkham_pups]

"Should do that quick-like then. 'Cause I don't want to miss the posturing."

Shay heads over to the man, grinning.

"Hey. Shay Doyle - I'd like to fight bare handed?"

The man looks him over,

"Aye, aye, wait yer turn an ye'll be called up."

[arkham_pups]

"'Kay. Any rules?"

[will_scarlett]

"Na bitin' or knives."

[arkham_pups]

"Okay, thanks," Shay gives him a nod and heads over to where the other men are posturing.

He gets looked over by the other men and a man who's almost as broad as him but shorter says,

"Ye think ye'll be able to last, boy?"

[arkham_pups]

"Against the likes of you?" Shay says, heading over to him to exaggerate the height difference. "Sure. I just hope you're able to walk when I'm done."

Shay likes posturing.

[will_scarlett]

"Ye're the one who should worry 'bout walkin', boy."

[arkham_pups]

Shay grins, giving him a light shove.
