Q: Okay, Pocky. What the hell is all this?A: Maxx has the ability to manifest, view, and travel into other people's Outbacks. What is an Outback, you may ask? It is an alternate reality or pocket dimension based on the content of an individual's subconscious mind. Doing stuff in one's Outback can be a way of clarifying or even resolving

character issues: Low self esteem. Bipolar. Addictive personality. Uneducated. Anger issues. He's Pete.
Childhood: Pete generally describes his childhood as 'dull', and 'nothing happened'. This is because he was the only super-powered person in his small Georgia town (his powers were gained in a hideous accident involving ball lightning and his father's moonshine stills when he was 6. His father was killed) and he was not allowed off his family's property. He had to re-learn how to do most things, lived in a dirt-floored shack without any electricity so he wouldn't burn the house down for several years, was diagnosed brain damaged by doctors who told his mother he would never learn to speak, or read, or function normally, and wore a rubber-lined helmet until he was fifteen. He was home schooled, on the grounds that the school was not equipped to deal with "special needs" students, had zero friends, was regularly tortured by neighborhood children and religious zealots who snuck onto the property, learned ( ... )

Character's Issues: Daddy issues BIG TIME, general issues with older men (hello creepy 'Uncle'), teenage angst in general
Childhood: Daddy was a lowlife who spent LOTS of time in jail and when he was out he was smackin' the family around and thinking up big schemes. Mommy was a pill popper who picked her husband over a happy life. Steph saw a lot of crap, was treated like crap, and had a secret fantasy of beating the shit out of Daddy. When she was 12 an "Uncle Dave" came to stay. She got away, but it kind of haunts her. She joined a lot of things like gymnastics because she wanted to be with people who actually liked her and she became Spoiler totally because of Daddy being a baddie...oh, and because she thought the Batman was cool.

Character's Issues: She's strongly selfish, very jealous, and um...afraid of finding herself living a pointless, boring life like she'd originally been headed toward before she met the Doctor. Who, yay, she's in love with but doesn't know if he returns the feelings.
Tell me about your childhood. It was lonely and rough, her father died when she was a baby (though this is something she's resolved in canon by...going back and being with him as he died, and then meeting an alternate version of him), her mother worked as a hair dresser and with odd jobs to make ends meet, they lived in a dinky little flat in the Powell Estate all of her life, with a hundred men just...milling on through. She believed that was all her life would amount to all the way up until she met the Doctor,
If your character had a spirit animal, what would it be? In the event you cannot think of a spirit animal, one will be provided for you. One very very large terrifying wolf. Probably golden :|
