Alcuin typically did not go more than a few days without seeing Maxxie, either because they made some plans or because they simply ran into each other. Unlike Nikola, Maxxie was entirely undemanding of him, which was likely a reason why Alcuin liked him. Everything about their relationship was rather… carefree.

Today, Alcuin simply spotted him while jogging back from the beach. He smiled brightly and approached with a little spring still in his step from the invigorating exercising. "Well met! What are you up to?"
