[ The first thing one might notice following the activation of the video feed is the Cyndaquil standing in front of the PokeGear. It seems rather content to wave a stubby arm at the oh so very interesting flashing red light on the device. Standing behind and off to one side of the Cyndaquil with a good few feet between them is a girl with red hair

Mmhm. Team Rocket are the bad guys in the games, so it makes sense that they would be the bad guys here, too. I'm going to ask them if they kidnapped everybody.
