Will sleeps long and deep, briefly waking throughout the day and night as his body struggles against the fever.

Much later he wakes more fully realizing he's hungry but is too worn to get food so stays in bed, feeling weak and trying to remember what he said to Kate.

She quietly comes in to see him.

"How are you feeling, Brother?"

[gorgonfondness]

"Good. Just rest and relax."

She pours some tea for herself.

"Draco's doing better too, by the way. Still has nightmares, and he's said a couple of insensitive things to others lately, but he's not as much of a git as he usually is."

[will_scarlett]

"Well, ye're a good influence on 'im, bound to 'elp an always 'elps knowin' ye're na alone."

Will makes a small motion on his tea cup, he's still not sure what happened with Kate but wants to keep finding out.

[gorgonfondness]

"I think I'm finally starting to understand how I can do that without trying. I tell Draco that he's so nice to me sometimes, but he always tells me that he's not really trying to be extraordinary or anything."

[will_scarlett]

"Good, tis 'ard an I ne'er understand things at all. Just glad to see ye both 'appy, understand Draco better after what 'e's got through an 'e's lucky to 'ave ye."

[gorgonfondness]

Her turn to blush now.

"I'm lucky to have him, too."

Being part of high society has its own problems, after all.

"Aye, well ye're to tell me what I can do for ye both, know will be a while 'fore yer married but still tis lots to do."

[gorgonfondness]

She sips her tea, thinking.

"Well, there's a lot to a wedding like this. Do you remember how my Guildmaster ceremony was open to the public? My wedding will be sort of the same way. That's a lot of people to entertain and I haven't the foggiest on how to handle it."

[will_scarlett]

"Sure ye'll figure it out, just dinna let anyone tell ye what to do an make sure tis what ye want."

[gorgonfondness]

"Well, I'll have my own ideas in time, I know, but I want there to be a little bit of everything, I suppose. That way, there will be something for everyone."

Now that she thinks about it that way...

"In fact, I was thinking about having the wedding in Meribia. Maybe I could set it up with the owners of the Seagull Tavern to hold their business outside for the occasion."

"Would be lovely to 'ave it beside the sea, probably be quite lovely."

[gorgonfondness]

It's a good thing he said that. It distracted Mia from her realization that hiring the Seagull Tavern would mean bunny girls in her wedding colors propositioning themselves to men in their formal robes.

"I was thinking of the harbor area by Black Rose Street. It would also make for a useful preparation area since Draco's shop is there. I'm sure he won't mind if it's for the wedding."

"Sounds like ye've lots o'good ideas an the time to make it just what ye wish."

[gorgonfondness]

"It's deciding which ones to use that's the problem," she says, though not without humor. "But I'm sure Draco has plenty of ideas of his own."

She looks at his hair for a moment. Red and green. Christmas colors.

"Knowing Draco, he'll likely want the men in the wedding party to wear green."

"Well, tis what I normally wear in Sherwood, so I'm sure it will be fine."

"Good, suits you better than the pink I had in mind for the women. Even John laughed when I wore my pink bandana."
