Will sleeps long and deep, briefly waking throughout the day and night as his body struggles against the fever.

Much later he wakes more fully realizing he's hungry but is too worn to get food so stays in bed, feeling weak and trying to remember what he said to Kate.

"You look better." Atton doesn't bother knocking.

[stuck_mynock]

"You're not going to keel over and die, then?" Jokingly.

[will_scarlett]

"Nay, promise I won't, takes more then a touch o'fever to kill me."

[stuck_mynock]

"Good. Can't exactly do the whole avenging your death thing if y'get killed by a fever." Atton grins.

[will_scarlett]

"Won't die just dinna wish to cause ye any trouble is all."

Will's been slowly eating one of the sandwiches and realizing he's thirsty but doesn't want to ask too much of Atton.

[stuck_mynock]

"It's no trouble. If it was, I wouldn't be here."

[will_scarlett]

"Um aye, knew that, ye didna 'appen to bring anythin' to drink did ye?"

[stuck_mynock]

Beat.

Atton looks a little shifty.
"Yes. Yes, I did. I'll just go get it." He heads out.

It takes a lot longer for him to get back than it would if he'd left drinks just outside the door, but he returns eventually, with two bottles of ale.

Now Will smiles a good bit,

"Thanks, Atton, just feelin' all odd an dry, been so long since was this sick."

[stuck_mynock]

"If I was sick more, I might've known better how t'deal with you." Atton smiles back. "Drink up."

[will_scarlett]

"Dinna worry, 'avena been sick in a while, just caught it from the folks we were 'elpin' is all."

[stuck_mynock]

"How's that whole helping people thing going for you, by the way?"

[will_scarlett]

"We're doin' well, Sheriff's na botherin' us at the moment, figures 'e can just wait till the snows take us down."

[stuck_mynock]

"Not that I've seen much, but from your state yesterday, they seem to be doing a pretty good job."

[will_scarlett]

"Tis others who are worse an see I'm fine just worn out is all."

"Of course, Will."
