Mine has started squeaking a bit again; last time it was the rollers, but we just replaced those in january, so not sure if it's the same or if there's something else going on. On the other hand, at least it's heating! And the noise is (at the moment anyway) mostly low-level and only the first portion of running.

Looking around for chance to move right now, and the last few places have all come with W/D. If i end up someplace like that, you'd be welcome to have my old one if you haven't resolved yours in the meantime. No guarantees how long it'll go, but might buy you a bit more time. On the other hand likely won't know about anything for a couple more weeks

Let me know if you want the number of the repair service that fixed our washer. You can at least call them and get an idea of what's going on via a verbal description, hopefully.
