I've been looking for an excuse to try that stuff for years. I originally thought of it in this case because we were looking to weight the glasses, since they're so light, and what weight they have is all at the top, so the poor guy playing the waiter couldn't keep them on the tray to save his life.

Someone else suggested magnets, and we ended up doing both. The end result is making me all kinds of happy.

Don't suppose you're gonna be in the L.A. area any time within the next few... months, maybe? I think I have a year, technically, but the sooner I can sort things out the better. And you're a theatre nerd (to quote the Whedon boys) so that would help.
