Bats!

I am Batty about them! The "Little Brown Bat" or Myotis Lucifugus), the most common bat in the Americas. If you watch it through at the very end you hear me go "Whoah!" and I duck. A bat dived for an insect next to my head. They will come around us alot when we are out in the yard as we attract the bugs. It great!

I'm a bat lover too, and we have a bunch here. Undeveloped woods right across the road, and our lawn is the first open space they come to. The WHOAH sounded familiar. We get insects congregating around our porch roof, probably because of the lights above there, and one time I stepped off the porch just as a bat was swooping for a bug and he clocked me right above my left ear. It didn't hurt much, but it sure was a shock!
