Well, as my regular readers will know, we attended FaerieCon back in October of 2007. It was a real blast and an important event in our artistic careers with lots of connections in the community and friends made. You can read my post about it Here. Thanks for sharing that, Shane. It was fun to see a bit of a flashback...
FaerieCon was such a bittersweet experience (we're both still STILL battling extortion from the unfair insane Philadelphia Parking office)
Ahem.

But the beautiful connections and friendships that were made are... well, they are the thing that really worked!!! :::raises cup o' Gnat's P* Tea to ya!:::

I made a (rough) documentary of the Fifteenth Spoutwood Festival, & was thinking of making a better, more in depth one for this year. (Need to buy new tapes first, though.) Especially considering that, in the original, my friend & I were almost immediately accosted by someone bent on using up my tape as he tried to save the world, parts of the documentary don't flow well at all, & the last bits are really rather choppy. Though I must say the bit where I interviewed Mr. Wood came out pretty well, with the B-roll & all. :)

Hah Ha! Hope to see ya there next year, but there is Spoutwood and others in May. As for whats on me head, well thats a pair of deer antlers, ducktaped together to keep the skull plate from separating, then padded with an old sock, then that is tied to my head along and under the hairline with an old fleece scarf, then the whole headdress is wrapped with garlands of silk leaves. Its the traditional BOG headdress for marches for those Brothers who can't afford to have a rack permanently mounted on a skull cap or headwreath. We have been marching for a number of years and I can get "greened up" in a hurry. I usually use all natural leaves for my headdress, but this was indoors.

Yeah it would have been cool to see some of the Art stalls on the video. Oh well.
