That's interesting, I usually only hear bad things about Chris Chibnall (he wrote 42 after all, one of the worst episodes ever and a lot of TW which is not good in itself XD) But I'm actually quite behind on DW, I haven't even seen Amy's Choice yet because I was so caught up in Iron Man when it aired.
Amy's Choice was okay. A bit... weird, but okay. But this one is really great. It asks the right questions and is filled with great decisions and completely believable and likeable characters.
Though why a Time Lord has to look at his watch (or even one to begin with) to check the countdown is beyond me.
Exactly. I didn't expect much either, and it turns out this is really a very healthy thing to do. And the ending was just... breathtaking in its horrible-ness.
