Sooo i had surgery yesterday on my sinuses...more specifically my nasal septum.  Let me just say this now....while I now can noticeably feel air moving through my left nostril...My nose effing hurts right now.  And the nasal irrigations BLOW.  So Im chilling with pain meds every 4 hours, not wanting to blow my nose unless necessary (which it is

I hope you feel better! All surgeries suck, but I'm pretty sure facial ones suck the most. I'm sure it'll look fine minus the swelling. And hey, at least you can really say "I had a deviated septum" when people ask if you got your nose done. It'll be like being a celebrity. Kinda.

The meds are there for a reason, as you, being a nurse, know more than I do. Just recuperate as much as you can, and while you're at it, read some Harry Potter :D
