I kind of purposefully threw the bits in there about them being all heroic, because I felt bad that they were kind of on the periphery. And I swear, Radek getting his leg hurt occurred to me a while ago!
I don't even know what else to say because my brain has exploded.
The action and the tension and OMG it was flawless. It was cliffhanger after cliffhanger with everyone in mortal peril all the time! IT WAS AWESOME! Plus! Plus! All the characters were fantastic and hardcore and a team and I love them all and I love how much they came together.
And the Elizabeth/John stuff? Was superb. I never envisioned it playing out like this but that made it all the more sweeter. And the way you've written it is so superior to anything I'd imagined that it breaks my brain. DAMN.
LOL I'm not going to replace, say, "Gone With The Wind" any time soon, I don't think.

I admit, I got a little choked up thinking about them all sitting there in the morning light, trying to realize they survived.

Even with the naughty bits? Cause lemme tell you, I went back and forth on John's little prematureness in the epilogue about 100 times. *sigh*
They make so much sense together because they make no sense at all. If that makes sense.
That's pretty much how I felt when I started writing this, cause I never would've come up with them together myself (angelqueen's fault!)
Caldwell - You never mentioned his ultimate fate, but I'm presuming he lives? PLEASE TELL ME HE LIVES!
Hey, I nearly didn't mention that he was still alive! Melyanna was the one who said "You gotta put in something about Caldwell." His fate is up to the AU community at large. (What? I'm wishy washy. I wouldn't outright kill Jacob in "Deals With Weddings" either! I made AQ do it.)
Kavaungh - Wow. I kinda liked him in this fic. That's... almost cruel of you to do
I was gonna do the *coughLuciuscough* thing but you beat me to it. :p
I LOVE that it was Cameron that got off the shot that saved Elizabeth.*G* I was pretty happy with that too. I was afraid it wouldn't make sense that it's because Ronon knocks Cameron down that he's there and uses his wounded arm to grab the gun and save her. But I knew it couldn't
( ... )
Oh, c'mon! You know now John has something to prove about his manhood and prowness now! And despite his easy-going nature, he has his pride about certain things. He cannot and will not let this blemish on his record remain without some serious making up for
*sticks fingers in ears* la la la I can't heeeeer yooouuuuu!
Holy crap. Seductive!John with something to prove. *melts*
OK I heard that. *thud*
Is that expression from when he cracks up early in "Trinity" where he's laughing for real? (It's one of the few times it looks like JF actually started to laugh, not John Sheppard. Plus it's too up close for the end of "Real World")

I love the whole Janet/Ronan pairing.
The build up of the Seige and the Rodney and Radek byplay was so well done.
Fantastic story.

Every time I would reread that bit where he turns up in my head I go "Jack!" *g*
Sadly I have no Jack icons of my own. :(
