it seems that way. my bloke's grandfather is reluctant to give him up…to anyone but me, it seems.

I've asked on behalf of a family friend, no.

my bloke's step-father asked on behalf of his friend, the answer was still no.

I get the feeling that if I asked for me, he'd say yes (I Think the grandfather's attached to the kitten now, he'd probably like it better if it went somewhere he knew it'd be safe…and he could visit)
