I now watch PBS for more than the comedies from England or the kids' shows. Am watching Great Performances right now - they're showing the revival of Driving Miss Daisy with Paul McCartney Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones. She plays southern very well. (I got sidetracked and watched the whole play - it's an excellent production

Yup, he returned it in record time, charged me $15 for the repair and $6 for the shipping.

I know, I couldn't help myself.

I still have the last month on my Tivo - haven't had the time to watch, and since they're all Christmasy, I figured I could hold onto them until November, and then they'll seem timely. (So no, I haven't seen the final episode yet!)

And yes, I find PBS really watchable, and even more, I now want to go on a Viking River Cruise in Europe (after all the Masterpiece 'sponsor' advertisements). I'm embracing being a grown-up at least part of the time. :)

OMG, YES. I've wanted to go on a Viking River Cruise for ages, and they just keep making it seem more and more awesome (it's just SO expensive! Plus the cost of just getting to Europe!).

Maybe someday....

(Also enjoying Poldark. I think I could watch Aidan Turner in anything, though. Never imagined I'd be all in love with Kili the Dwarf!)

Glad they were able to repair the mug. It's a bummer when you break something you love but can't easily replace.
