Forgot A Title - Age of Ultron & Other Stuff

Went to see Age of Ultron last night. I enjoyed the hell out of it, although I'll say it wasn't nearly as good as the first movie - but there was some good snarky banter, lots of lovely Hawkeye (where IS the Hawkeye movie?!?), and Ultron makes a pretty lame villain but was saved through the brilliant casting of James Spader as his voice. I don't understand why we don't address the serious infrastructure issues -- not just with transportation but with the electricity grid as well. I just can't understand.

Every time I hear "no taxes!" from these morons, I wonder if they think all this stuff maintains itself (and by the way, those are JOBS)...

I will never in a million years understand why the GOP thinks it's more important to control women's bodies and gay people's access to marriage than to educate children and keep the country from physically falling apart.

I had much the same reaction to the Avenger movie.

Not arguing one bit about the infrastructure though what I'm seeing with this crash seems a lot more than that (like the thing going more than twice the allowed speed in that area)

Yes, that's definitely true. Something was screwy with the driver, but unfortunately, with the concussion, he doesn't remember anything.

But still. If we had the proper safety upgrades in place, human error becomes less of a factor.

That is true. Pittsburgh is becoming terrifying. We have more bridges there than almost anywhere in the world....all of them in piss poor upkeep.

Kickstarter for bridges and roads!!! (I'm on the way to being serious about this. The problems with American infrastructure are becoming ridiculous.)
