So, last night I did in fact discover I could download my corrupted songs again for free. Nice Apple. And I still got my two free credits, so I did that, and then plugged in my iPod to sync. BUZZ. No such luck. I've been getting an error message, which I Googled, and found that many people with the Classic 160-Gig iPod have the same error, and

There are a number of babyname websites. And genealogical websites might also be useful.

Oh, I've got baby name books all over the place. I need fantasy names for the characters in the game (Tom is a Warrior, Matt plays a Wizard, Cody is a Bard, etc.).

hmmm tell me more about the geek story. I'm not that good at naming anything but i do know when I see a crap name (saw one today on goodreads, thinking I just know if i read this book all I'd think about is the name Kizzy for my heroine...)

It finished all right, but I'm having some trouble with the photos. Should probably just take that option off (and there's something weird about the "other" stuff filling up space -- usually it's only 3 or 4 gig of the junk Apple puts on them, the clock, calendar, etc.; now it's 45 gig of "other").

Let's see -- They're playing a "World of Warcraft" type game, so I'll need a name of the game (to prevent being sued), a name for the lands it's set in, a name for Tom's Warrior character, a name for Matt's Wizard character (I'm thinking Ryodan for that one), and a name for Cody's bard (possible Alonzo -- she's the non-geek of the group, and only played once to see what Matt was all excited about); my villain is likely named Greg in the real world and Falcon in the game, but I'm not married to either.

Kizzy? All I'd think about is Roots.

hmm yes definitely will need to find another name Lands of....something or other.

i'll think about the names. Wasn't Ryodan the name in Hickman and Wiess's dragonlance series/ or was that Riordan... Hmmm been too many decades

I got the music. That is what concerns me!

I started plugging -- Elesstar is what I'm using now, unless something else jumps to mind, in case that sounds too much like someone else's world.

I've used the name Riordan numerous times over the years; I initially thought I created it, but I've run across it in several places. Bear in mind these are guys playing an online game, their character names may not be completely original!

Odd. That's the one and only place I've EVER heard the name Kizzy (played by Leslie Uggams).
