A Couple of Days in a Row

Tuesday, Day 36: Many people have probably heard about the storms that crashed into Phoenix (and all of Arizona, really) on Tuesday. I took several pictures on Tuesday afternoon.

Thanks!

I assume you got here with my accidental truncated post! (I went to hit "preview" and accidentally hit "post" instead!) The rest of the pictures and my yammering are in there now! :-)

Oh, and it PORED, it really did! I couldn't believe how much rain we got (and we were lucky in our part of town, we didn't get any of that destructive hail!).

Thanks, and THANKS!!! I really do like my job, I don't WANT to have to go looking for something else, but... *crosses fingers*

I was having fun with pictures during that rainstorm!

I know -- it was remarkably vivid.

I was staring at some gorgeous pictures of tornadoes today and thinking how fascinating it would be to take photos of them.

...then I think, "noooo, that'd be BAD."

Some brave folks got some really scary/impressive shots of the tornadoes in the Flagstaff area, but they don't come down this way very often!

Yep, Arizona hits the National news when we have storms that rip telephone poles (and trees) out of the ground! The hail was unbelievable; entire car lots had to be totaled out because of the broken windows and massive number of dents. Apparently they were the second-largest hailstones in Maricopa County history!

Thanks. I don't handle stress well...

Yeah, I didn't actually SEE any hail myself, but everyone was passing pictures around the office.

My fingers are crossed for your job. I know how hard uncertainty is to deal with, and it really does suck. ::hugs::
