Words words words words

49,684 words. I have to blather out another 400 words by tomorrow night just to win NaNo, and then I can put this baby away for a while to simmer. I think there's the bare bones of a good story here, but because my brain hasn't been working the last week, a lot of it is really, really, REALLY bad. There is a lot of telling rather than showing ( Read more... )

brain is dying

I looked out the window that morning, and there they were, all sunning themselves on the sand! Oddly, that was the best picture I got, through the window -- the ones I took when I got outside weren't as sharp.

Caturday!

Turtles--much better to see massed outside your window than gators (although I love the icon of Wavy!).

If you coughed up a lot of gunk from your lungs all the freaking time, then it was probably bronchitis (although my bouts usually last two to four weeks). Whatever it was, I'm glad you're getting better!

Usually when I was at her place last time, it was birds out there, this was the first time I'd seen turtles!

It may be bronchitis; I'm starting to hack up the gunk (after a week of non-productive dry coughing). Not that I'm looking forward to another week or so of this! I didn't even have the energy this weekend to get out the decorations (stockings time!).

Hmmm...bronchitis doesn't usually have much dry coughing, but gunk fits the bill. Bleah. Much sympathy.

It started high in my chest with tightness and odd, shortness of breath. It stayed there for several days, making me feel just "not right" with that dry cough until it settled and then there was a deeper cough and head congestion, and now it's back in the chest WITH the gunk and the shortness of breath.

Bleah.
