That jellyfish shot is amazing! I'm glad you had fun (I need to try a cruise someday), and I'm still bummed we couldn't connect in Orlando.

I have to work to be as good as you are (and figure out this freakin' camera!), though!

I know, it would have been cool. Maybe if Mom hadn't had such plans! (She gets an idea and she holds onto it - she almost dropped everything and drove south anyway, but I knew it wouldn't be good for her!)

Next time for sure!

I still don't totally understand my camera(s), but seriously, they're much better than I am, so they make me look good. And you were doing through-water shots, which are close to impossible, and you did great!

The main trouble I've been having is that it has a really good auto focus/light adjustment; HOWEVER, while that works terrifically in close situations with good light, it makes for some very blurry distance shots in low lighting. I have to figure out the manual settings (there are several things that it can do) so I can use it in concerts and the like.

When I get my pictures off the old camera, I'll post some of the shots I got of the monkeys in Belize. *g*

Is somewhat jealous - I want to do that one day.

Glad you had a wonderful time!

What astounded me were the number of people on that cruise who were repeat--sometimes MANY multiples--cruisers. Ten or more cruises just with Carnival gets a platinum cruise card.

And I'm trying to figure out how to afford another ONE!

I am afraid that a great many of the travel things I want to do will remain forever out of my reach, which makes me very sad.
