Characters: Agron and Nasir Setting: Only weeks before the beginning of Vengeance ep 3 Summary: Nasir is getting better with the sword, but it still holds weight and the aches are undeniable. Status: Open to Agron Warnings: TBD
Agron had watched the boy throughout the day when opportunity had presented itself. Several of the former slaves had sought to be trained and Spartacus himself took special interest in Nasir - just as Agron did. He watched as the boy wielded blade, hissing and cursing everytime that he left an opening and Spartacus struck him with the flat side of the blade. There was no denying that the boy was eager and perhaps even he had some skill. Only time and more training would tell.
"You stink" Agron grinned as he approached Nasir, a smile lingering on his lips. He had watched the Syrian move away at the end of training, seen the bruises that littered his dark skin. Yet he had also seen the fire and determination in the boy's eyes and Agron could not help the pull that he felt.
Nasir glanced up at his words and offered a smile. He'd spent enough time in the man's company to know the comment was not meant to cause offense, and so Nasir didn't take it as such. The fact remained that Nasir was the filthiest he'd been in many years, and while at first it had bothered him, the knowledge that everyone here -especially the likes of Rhaskos- were in the same state made the self consciousness leave him.
"I'll be sure to indulge in a good scrubbing to save your delicate nose the insult."
Agron burst out in loud laughter and he shook his head. "You've seen the fucking Gauls... stink like pigs! I've known worse than you!" It was not an insult but in fact a compliment that fell from Agron's lips... all be it a rather twisted one.
"Where can a man get a bath around here?" He asked, raising his head to look around the villa.
There was no way he'd missed it. Not when they were loud and obnoxious, constantly demanding attention even if they didn't realise it. And the smell, Nasir was sure he'd never smelled anything as bad the Gauls. Not even actual pigs.
"You've not found them?" Standing, Nasir tries to hide the wince behind a smile and indicates to the door way. "I can show you."
