Elphaba turned, not needing to see who it was, from the horrid mispronounciation of her name. She walked over to Katelyn, waving, not bothering to correct her.

"Hi." She plopped down next to Katelyn. "You're Katelyn, right?"

"Interesting people..." Elphaba mulled over Katelyn's words. "That's a bit of an understatement. And, yes, the girls are more accepting. I mean, after all, it is a magic school." Elphaba paused, thinking. "Of course, it is a school of teenage girls, so nobody can be completely inviting."

Nah, Katelyn's real chatty, so she can keep this up indefinitely. But this looks like as good a spot to break away as any...got nothing else planned, at least. Just had to add the line in about Elphie being so nice, and how Katie's worried that of the two, she's the one that wouldn't fit in. Hooray, irony!
