SO, perniciousness and i have just returned from columbus, where we spent the day basking in the glory that is filmmaking... by which i mean, squeeing repeatedly over various stars, historical figures, cars, and of course, guns.

there's something about an attractive guy in stylish clothes on a fast car and shooting a gun that just goes straight to one's pants.

And there you have it; the reason I'm never getting married. And wow, I don't think I've ever seen a Tommy Gun in person and that is sofuckingcool.

it was. i'm trying to figure out how i can get me hands on one and learn to shoot it. ^~^;

i dunno--i've been feeling this growing nostalgia/fascination with the 20's and 30's lately (especially since we found that old wreck out in sodak). like... people were so poor and so rich and they had heroes, you know? (of course, i can't know that, since i wasn't around, but that's the picture in my mind.)

really, i just wish i could ask my great-grandparents about what their lives were like back then.

yes, we did. we actually had a really great conversation or two--she was a total darling, and was pretty much the best person to hang out with, since she knew so much about dilinger to begin with.
