TF: Rare-Pairing Halloween Trick ‘o Treat

Authors Notes: I had fun doing the prowlxjazz Anniversary Challenge, if no one else enjoyed reading them. So when tf_rare_pairing announced their October challenge, I thought I might try something similar. Though this is going to be different as I have to write on a daily basis again. But that was fun when I did it before ( both times). So yeah… wish the ever-more-eccentric one luck? I have to say, I loved eerian_sadow's response when she gave me this prompt "...why do i feel like that got put on the wrong list?" Hee.... I think it just goes with the whole, some of my tricks are treats, some of my treats are tricks... Though, this could count as either!

“No. It can’t be possible.”
“It is. Have you ever known me to lie about anything?”
“No…” Smokescreen sighed. “Just… wow… didn’t think we’d ever…”
“Have a sparkling?” Red Alert finished wryly.
“Yeah…”
“Do you want to…” Red Alert couldn’t finish his sentence.
“No, I don’t want to get rid of it!” Smokescreen was quick to reassure Red Alert. “I’m just a little shocked.”
“So you do want it?” Red Alert’s lower lip trembled.
“Of course I do!” Smokescreen gathered his lover close.
“Primus hates me.” Red Alert moaned, one hand over his optics.
“It’s not that bad.” Smokescreen consoled, picking up their sparkling and holding him close, uncaring of the energon and paint getting on his plating.
“Isn’t it?” Red Alert stared around their quarters; messy and covered in energon and paint.
“It could be worse.” Smokescreen shrugged, ticking the sparkling on his lap.
“How?” Red Alert’s voice was flat and disbelieving.
“We could have two.”
