“Frag.” Tracer muttered the curse, realising that she was stuck where she was.  The Decepticons had retreated, but in the process of leaving, Thundercracker had let off a sonic boom, which not only disorientated her; it also appeared to have corrupted some of her mobility circuits.

Which left her on her knees on the outskirts of the battlefield.  She should have just ignored Ravage, but she couldn’t resist the challenge.  Now she was stuck on her knees and leaking energon.  And radio communications were still down.
“Frag this.” Muttering to herself, she tried crawling forward, wincing as fresh energon welled up from the various scratches Ravage had given her.  That she’d managed to rip off one of his rocket launchers really didn’t seem to matter at the moment.  All that mattered was that she was injured and had no way of contacting anyone.  And she was too far away to shout.  So she was left crawling towards them until she was found.  Not really her idea of a good time.

“Tracer!” She could hear Trailbreaker’s voice calling her, but she couldn’t exactly stand up and wave to him.
“Over there.” Hound’s voice rang out moments after Trailbreaker’s call and she sighed in relief, knowing she was getting help.  It wasn’t much longer before Trailbreaker was kneeling at her side, large hands running gently over her plating, smearing energon and checking for any more serious damage.  She straightened as much as she could, leaning against Trailbreaker with a grateful sigh.
“Come on girl, stand up.” Hound tried to chivvy her up.
“Don’t you think I would have done that already if I could?” She tilted her head up to glare at Hound.  “Thundercracker’s fragging sonic boom did something to my mobility circuits.”
“It’s all right, Trace, we’ll get you to Ratchet.” Trailbreaker tried to reassure her.
“You are not thinking of carrying me like this, are you?”
“What other choice do we have?” Hound cut in.  Tracer muttered something under her breath.  Trailbreaker shook his head.
“Hound’s right.  There’s no other way.”
“Fine.  Doesn’t mean I have to like it though.” She grumbled.  Trailbreaker picked her up, glaring at Hound as he tried to stifle a laugh.  Tracer clung on to Trailbreaker’s shoulders, knees still bent.
“I can hear you laughing!” She called out to Hound, burying her face against Trailbreaker’s chest.
“I’ve seen him in worse positions.” Trailbreaker murmured as they started walking back to the rest of the Autobots.  “Hey Hound, you remember that time you got that branch through your undercarriage?  You couldn’t even transform.” Hound kept quiet after that.

Thankfully, there were few major injuries resulting from the battle.  Tracer rode back with Ratchet as she wasn’t able to transform, Trailbreaker close on Ratchet’s tailpipes.  It was a simple matter of repairs once they got back to base, and Tracer was relieved to be able to walk out of the medbay.
