I really should have posted this on January 8th, in honor of Bowie's 60th. As I've been going through my things, I came across this letter I wrote when I was like 12 years old. It makes me laugh now.
When I was in, I think, seventh grade, my friend Wendy was staying the night, and she *knew* I had a thing for Mick Jagger, and we were watching "Night Tracks" (this was pre-MTV, at least in Lexington), and the video for "She's So Cold" came on, and then Wendy decided *she* liked Mick, and we got in a big fight, and my mom ended up having to separate us and send her home at, like, 3 in the morning.
And I will still smack down any beeyotch who thinks she can take my man!
