And yeah, I used to use .jpg but found it was creating a strange pixel-y effect when I saved them, so I've switched over to .png and never looked back!
I can spot .png icons the minute I look at an icon post. They are always so much better.
No, I don't have Tumblr. I have Facebook and Twitter, but I never go there unless I get a notice that someone at FB has sent me a message or posted on my wall. I use Twitter to follow celebrities, but I never tweet.
I know Tumblr is for photos, but I keep all my photos in Photobucket. I have nearly 40,000 now. I started doing that when I had a small 80 GB hard drive and just kept on saving them at PB after I got a larger hard drive.
Off topic, but I saw your August 25, 2010 summer vaction pictures post. You have such a good looking family and you are positively breathtaking with that gorgeous red hair. I would kill to have red hair like that, but you have to be born with it. It's not something you can get out of a bottle. LOL

I asked about Tumblr because I often post photosets, picspams, graphics, etc. on my Tumblr that just don't make it to my LJ, and because I love having conversations over there. If you're at all interested, you should take a lot. I don't actually keep my photos there the way I do Photobucket. I didn't know anyone did that.
And as for the photos comment, thank you! That's so sweet.
