GRAD DRESS SHOPPING. I HAVE WAITED YEARS FOR THIS. WATCHED SISTERS, COUSINS, FRIENDS AS THEY TRIED ON BEAUTIFUL DRESS AFTER BEAUTIFUL DRESS. AND NOW MY TIME HAS COME.

( clearly, dress designers hate breasts. they want to crush them. flat. )

wilde is joyful!, daily life, school, yay!, omg!

Aw, I don't blame you for being excited over fancy dresses. I haven't had an occasion to wear one in many years. Enjoy yourself!

I am of the opinion that every girl (well, okay, obviously not every girl. Generalizations are bad!) should wear fancy dress at least once a year. Wear a fancy dress to the grocery store! Or, you know, I find it's wonderfully decadent to lounge around in formal wear, makeup done and hair up, with a glass of wine white zinfandel and some chocolates.

Crossed out wine because who am I kidding, all I ever drink is zinfandel. *laugh*

I've never had the joy of shopping for pretty dresses--dressmakers don't like 300+ gals. But good for you! I'm glad you ahd fun. ^_^

Aren't there any stores where you live that would fit you? I mean, it sucks that fashion is generally modeled after size zeroes. Pretty dresses should (and totally could) come in all sizes, and you definitely don't need to be a size zero to rock a pretty dress.

aww that sounds pretty.im not a big fan of dresses but it sounds good.have you managed to do my banner yet?no rush tho dw.n btw we studied the poem that the lines in your banner are from at school today!it made me happy haha. xx

I haven't finished (I've barely begun, honestly) your banner for two reasons. a) I currently owe two fics to two different people which were promised long before. b) I am a full-time student in addition to working part-time.

I don't know exactly when I'll be done. I can tell you I'm trying to get it done soon, but I have to put priority on the fics since they're so overdue. If you want to change your layout back to what you had before for now, that's fine.

I did want to ask you - do you want just your username at the top and then the quote, or do you want Ianto Jones written there, or Torchwood, or... you know, et cetera. Also, do you want something similar to mine where it's transparent on the journal background? (As opposed to being on a different-coloured rectangle or whatever.)

I love that poem so so much. W.H. Auden is by far (waaaay far) my favorite poet, and I thought the quote suited Jack and Ianto. The whole poem is perfect for them, really, in my opinion.

yeah i thought it was really good.i dont read many poems,although i do write them.yeah it really is.im looking forward to studying it further.we were also talking about ballads and all i could think of was the ballad of ianto jones lol. xx
