I haven't updated in forever and I wanted to wait until I could [successfully] post pictures because I have some good ones I'd like to share.  But it looks like I still have some work to do in that department based on that last “entry" of mine.  I just need to vent.  Many apologies, but this entry will serve as my "I'm so fucking mad at everything

hayley, i just wanted to let you know that i understand exactly how you feel. santa barbara was the same way - at first i was shunned because i didn't get drunk EVERY night and then i was dropped entirely when i said that i didn't want to take shots before i studied for mid-terms (which took up about 7 weeks of a 10 week quarter) and finals. i was constantly told by my bitch roommate and all of her barbie friends that i studied too much and it wasn't 'cool'. apparently it was much cooler to be drunk all the time and go up and down the halls on skateboards half naked. i guess i just didn't get the memo on that one. also, there's something about those alphi phi girls because there were two of them (roommates) in my hall and they were both BIG SLUTS too. interesting... anyways, cheers to you for actually being able to put up with it.

I'm with you Hayley. I'm basically surrounded by idots. I think high school really did me good in the sense that I still feel like I need to do my best here, and so far, my GPA reflects it. My friends on the other hand, don't believe that class is a big deal and celebrate over a 3.0. My friend Charlie was telling me how his friend went into college as a sophmore because she took a bunch of commuity college classes in high school. I laughed at him and hit him back with IB and how about 7 of my friends went into college as a sophmore.

Hayley - im sorry for all of the stupidness, im sure it will get better. but i just had to share something with you (that i thought was kinda funny). My sister went to chico, but she never stayed in the dorms, she transfered from the jc. Her first year there Deanne (my sister) and a couple of her friends rented an appartment. And i remember the first day we were there to move her in, we met some guys that lived next door to her, and they said that the appartment complex was known as "THE ZOO". Thats just what it was called by everyone. So when you said that you felt like you were in a zoo - i thought id tell you that my sister did too. :)
