Love the look at all the crew and what they're thinking and like their acceptance of Mal's decision.

Jayne's incomprehension of Mal's actions is great and I like that Mal isn't really sure why he didn't open the airlock.

Poor River and her not talking and ears ringing. I do like her speaking up at the end, it sets the scene for the next chapter I'm thinking.

I'm really loving your story and can't wait to read the next chapter...

Thanks hon. I must admit I did want a ''charge and rescue, big damn heros' thing to happen but the fic just seemed to write itself happening in this way. I think, in this circumstance, they have to wait so I'm really pleased you think it rang true. And I love seeing all those parts that you really enjoyed, drawing out the different reactions is a big part of this fic.
