I am procrastinating.
I have a paper to write.
An easy, bull-shit paper, but a paper none the less.
I don't feel like writing it.
So I am posting here instead. -

For a while, I've noticed my Japanese professor, Miyauchi-sensei, has the tendency to say "ですねぇ" and "ねぇ" frequently in class (which I would say are roughly equivalent to "Y'know?" or "Ey") Curious, I decided to keep a tally. In one 50 minute class...ですねぇ” was said 75 times and "ねぇ” was said 137 times. So, on average, that's about 1.5 utterances of ( Read more... ) -
Mini Update
Not much going on lately. Busy with classes and such. Getting some valuable Japanese language practice in, that grammar stuff...it's clutch. Having fun. Hard to believe it is already half way over. Pretty sure I don't want to leave...but at the same time...it will feel nice to be home again .
