So, after long thought, I decided that even though I'm generally a bitch and I have to have lists for everything (p.s. the next two will be exponentially easier than this one.) Anyway, I decided that in the end, it comes down to Time Bomb by The Format. Anyone who knows me at all knows that The Format is my second favorite band (Queen beats them. ;D) The reason I choose Time Bomb? Well, to start, it reminds me of a time when I was a lot happier and things weren't as shitty as they are now/have been in between then and now. Also, it will and always has been the most listened to song on my iTunes. Well, not at the moment, because of the whole new computer thing. Aactually, it didn't transfer and I cried and I just downloaded it so now I have to listen to it more than thirty-two times so that it can beat "Is Okay Good?" from the A Very Potter Musical soundtrack and Bulletproof by La Roux. (I can't believe "Is Okay Good?" is the top-listened to thing on my iTunes. Kill me please. o.o)
Anyway, at the end of the seventh grade, I put this song on repeat and in that time alone I managed to listen to it about 1500 times in a row before finally turning it off. Unlike the other songs that ended up on my Top 25 Most Played playlist, I was actually there the whole time, and the sound was on. The whole time.
I just feel like I connect to this song a lot and it makes a lot of sense in parallel to my life. It's the only song I've never gotten sick of and I never pass it up when it comes on shuffle. I really can't describe my love for this song. /nerding P.S. I don't know if you've noticed, but the title for my livejournal is 'START!NG N0W, !'M START!NG OVER, Y0U SW0RE, 'T0GETHER F0REVER' --> N0W Y0U'RE TELL!NG L!ES. Those are the first lyrics to the song. I also very frequently quote 'oh no, was it worth it?' and varying versions of that, which is also from the song. Also, when I'm feeling cynical and depressed honest, I like to quote 'was it worth what you did to your wrists?', which is the story of my life and the last lyrics to the song. Anyway.
