Why can't you put the rings back in for yourself? Why do you need retainers in ear piercings (the only piercings of yours that an interviewer would see?)
I forget the name of the type of ring, but I wear the type where the ring is held in place by the pressure of the ring by the ball. They're not simple to put in.
I have bought the appropriate pliers et cetera to try start doing it for myself though.
The retainers are just to keep the upper cateriledge piercings from closing. The lobe piercings I'm sure would be fine but I don't trust the higher ones to stay open.
