Was that sarcasm about me being interesting to talk to? lol. Don't forget I haven't seen any of the Star Wars films either!!! And no one said you should shut up about the Chocolate factory film did they? Well, Daven may have done, but he has no manners! Hehe. I'd never tell you to shut up my dear Jamie! Oh, and sorry if you didn't want to stay at the Hobbit all night, we could have moved on, but I'm very lazy, hehe, and we seemed to have a nice table and conversation going. Hope you had fun anyway, you’re a much better conversationalist than you seem to think.
Shame we couldn’t make it on Saturday or Sunday, but thanks for making me feel so wanted!
Did you receive my exciting package with options forms and e-mail addresses for PhilSoc related contact? I was all organised and stuff!
Of course it wasn't sarcasm... :o) It probably is interesting to discuss just how many movies you haven't seen, and I did forget about Star Wars, how silly of me :o) I'm not sure how you've been able to avoid these things really :o) Shall have to take you to the film night at Gamesoc next year.
Oh, if we get lots of deep/intellectual/artistic films together we could probably have an excuse for a Philsoc Films night :o)
I probabably should have not mentioned Charlie and The Chocolate Factory so much, think daven might have been annoyed at me mentioning the nuts and the squirrels, but it is in the book! :o) hehe :o)
Hobbit is fine :o) Jamie can live without dancing for one night :o)
All important uni informatation stuff recieved and well, just got to get myself organised and sort it all out and send it off now :o)
It is hard to decide. It’s a shame for you that you can’t do Philosophical Logic because Dawn has so selfishly left us. I remember her saying that someone else would teach Mind because it’s such an important course so they’d have to run it, but not so.
Yes, I’m just wondering what films would be suitable for a PhilSoc thing…
And I hardly think Daven was livid, he probably doesn’t remember what you said about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory anyway! We’re going to see it this week!
As to what films... Hmm... There must be a lot of films dealing with ethical issues I'm sure... Trying to remember what the film about the boy who had some debilitive diesease was, and there was this whole issue of whether it was cruel for the parents to keep him alive in hopes of a cure... was shown it in my Religious Studies class, kind of a deontological vs teleological ethics thing.
Other ones are perhaps more dubious, Donnie Darko can be quite deep, philosophical isn't quite the word but can require some thought to understand. Matrix might be said to be similar, though is rather simple really, but because the premise is basically the Evil Demon arguement might be able to justify it :oD
I don't think it has to be too meaningful, mostly an excuse to get people together, have a few drinks and watch some films anyway :o)
Be well, hope you enjoy Charlie and The Chocolate Factory! :o)
I'll pass the information onto my mother, she might take it more seriously, though she has more Christian leanings, so, despite all this spiritualism stuff being bibilically frowned on anyway, she's more likely to go for non-pagan cleansing stuff, or something.

You were like a lil pixie running around with a huge grin on your face taking pics of us, most amusing...:)
