I completely forgot about Polyday!! I was hoping to be there with my partner too. :(

But yay for getting to watch Doctor Who!! :D

My entry was really only meant to be a comment on the DoctorWho LJ community. Ended up on my journal because it was too long but is still just unstructured first reactions (well, second reactions... wrote it after re-watching it at home) :oD

If there are one or two locals you know, check with them in advance if they have a spare bed on which you may crash. It's my experience that folks who can help are generally happy to do so. The long ride home is so much less daunting on a good night's sleep.

I've done that for the previous polydays, definitely is useful.

I'm not in regular contact with many people in London any more though and I don't like to appear out of nowhere and invite myself around people's places :oP
