As you say the music wasn't to your taste but definitely got the thumbs up from others there, it could have been a little more varied I think to take into account the varied audience but tbh Dan was just playing what he'd been contracted to play. I find it amusing that the technical hitches happened to the organiser and 'promoter' of the night and not to the brought in DJ.
Got to just cry at the shit advertising though, as you say the place could be so much more with a few more people, if you didn't like the music then yes you were more likely to head outside for a bit of a quiet area, although by the bar it wasn't as loud. Still it was nice to hear music in an alt club over a decent sound system!
Especially from what I hear from others the music certainly does seem to have been widely appreciated, which isn't surprising given the success of the EBM room down at Unit 22. Definitely think there's a wide enough audience for it but they do have to know it's happening :o)
