Whoops

I took some really, really bad third-hand advice and tried to rehydrate a neglected bag of porcelain clay by soaking it in a washtub in the bathroom.

The clay is back in the bag, but now my hallway is completely covered in little baby-powder catprints.

I choose to read that as, "If it's totally dried out you should fob it off on one of your art major/tightwad/unemployed classmates." I can't even be arsed to reanimate my trim scraps. I was willing to try this one because it was only a little off (maybe six months old, wet to the touch but didn't perk up when I threw it at the floor) and people look at you sideways when you throw away large quantities of porcelain.

I'll try to wedge what I've got, but if it's annoying I'll just let it go. Thanks for the advice!

Didn't know you were a potter.

This sounds adorable. I hope the cleanup isn't too bad.
