Hey kido,
It was really nice to talk to you guys at the airport (congrats on your acceptance to Harvard by the way.)

I think your unanswered questions and emotions are completely justified....actually, I feel that many competitors feel the same way. There were so many people at Harvard that truly deserved to advance and didn't. My thought-I don't know anyone who is truly satisfied with their "best." Knowing that they did their "best" is more of a comfort than a solution to feeling low. I'd love to say something uplifting but as some friends of mine would say, "I'm spent."

forensics always screws people over...this im sure you've learned from the past couple years...its all about what the people who know say...
i got screwed over on 2 ballots in semis but im alright with that because the judge that picked me up was an FX national champion...same applies in your situation. You can never win on merit alone so gotta place alot of value on what the surrounding people say..
