I don't own pajamas.

Okay. I have one pair, for when I need to sleep with people that I'm not making the beast with two backs with. Like my sister or boss.

I changed into shorts and galoshes.

I don't change until it's bedtime. I rarely even take off my shoes. But my after-hours often involves soldering, welding, and other such shenanigans.

By "pyjamas" are we talking "all my clothes off"?

Hm, I meant more "do you change into comfy clothes when you get home?"... but if you're more comfy sans clothes, then I guess that would count.

I was at a dinner party once, and this came up. Turned out that a majority of the women often changed into pjs when they got home (I do, though in my defence I often don't get home till 8 or 9 pm, sometimes later) whereas none of the men did.

I work in comfy clothes, so I pretty much leave them on until I'm ready to go to bed, then I put on a T-shirt.

I lose my shoes when I get in. And if I wore a tie I'd lose that by the time I got home too.

But other than that my work clothes aren't uncomfortable, so I don't even notice them.

Well now, maybe it is just me?

Given that my "work clothes" consist of tee shirts and shorts or stretchy leggings, I effectively wear comfy pyjama-like clothing nearly all the time!

Ha. Maybe it's not gendered, but it's a Marin thing. Wouldn't that be embarrassing?
