Ooooh. Great chapter. I'm real curious to see how Ron plans to win the cup by the 21st!

Is it a league or a cup???

And when is he going to see Harry?

What do you mean? The League Cup is the prize for the winningest team in the league at the end of the season, kind of like the league pennant used to be in baseball (before the beginning of divisional play in the sixties). That's what they're trying to win--Ron's basically promising that the Cannons will be on top of the League by the end of the season.

As for Harry...patience. He'll get here.

I find it interesting, and a bit frightening, that you refer to Draco as the demon.

Draco's Missouri accent killed me, especially since you're from Missouri.

Fun chapter.

Missouri is a fun state when it comes to accents. Draco's faked accent would fit in perfectly in the Ozarks; it's just his luck that Hannibal is on the other side of the state. (It's on the same side as St. Louis, and I promise I don't speak like that!)

I've had great arguments with people over whether Missouri counts as a Southern state, actually. You'd ber surprised what doesn't show up in your history textbooks...

Malfoy was standing in the back of the room, with a press pass pinned to the brim of his hat, wearing the most horrible false moustache Ron had ever seen.

jdklsjflfhaijdfh::snortchortle::jdlskajflafj Oh lord. That accent.

Ahem.
