I like boats... can you tell? Actually... I would probably freak out on a ship in the middle of the ocean and have a panic attack... no land for thousands of miles? No Thanks... I'm afraid of Outter Space too ;)

I'm thinking, in particular, my pschology book... there was a pharagraph of 8 sentences that all started out with "We have seen" and I wish I was over exaggerating.

yeah... it kind of made me want to shoot myself... just a bit. I kinda like my Anatomy book, it's actualy rather fun to read, but then again, I thought my chemistry book was well written ^_^

You read too much into things? Never! I both love and hate how you see all of those little things I attempted to do to explain without explaining. You nail them spot on. Ummm... I dunno if I would call Luriel more grounded... logical I think. But he is a professional student.

:D I knew Rai was more than just the ship's captain! And the idea of him having a dragon form because he is a fire elemental is so completely cliche, yet brilliant.

The further you get into posting this story, the more and more hooked on it I become. I think it is one of your better ones! ^_^

... I know... but I wanted a reason to play with dragons... it was either that or a phoenix and the shifting of scales in his chest was too much to resist.

Indeed! :p Lucy is just a friend. He's married to Paraklee's housekeeper Rosa... she's mentioned briefly in chapter one.

Really? It was supposed to be epic and amazing... I spent months planing it, I made maps of their routes and countries, defined their religion, found pictures for their clothes, designed archetecture and tried my hand at speech patterns (you'll mostly see that in Rai)and I still feel like it could have been sooo much more. *shrug* We'll see what happens with Corruption, which I plan to be bigger, but... meh.
