First off, I tend to see a blog as something that people generally keep first and foremost for themselves. Sure, there's a decent amount of itneraction with others that can happen, but it's not a requirement. Besides, speaking for myself, I know how crazy-busy things can get sometimes. I don't take it as a lack of interest when someone else has that happen, just that there's other stuff to be taken care of. We see you when we see you; good enough for me ( ... )

Weeeeell, we haven't burned down yet. Russet said she heard that the forest will be reopened Friday for the holiday weekend, and we're pretty much at monsoon season anyway.

We've been getting some rain every day for the last few days, but that's in Cloudcroft. I have no idea what your area was getting.

I'm only 4 miles away in Pineywoods. Hopefully, we got some rain too. Thanks for the info!

I would love to join you for some kayaking sometime. You should invite Meredith down too. She has two kayaks, and I'm sure she'd be glad to lend you one for the chance to try out a new spot.
I wouldn't worry too much about belonging to the group since most of my entries are nonsensical metaphor. I don't expect people to even want to read what I've written. Like apostate_96 said, it's all for me.

I like your posts. They seem more like poems to me -- at least, some of them do.

Thanks. That's actually pretty much the point for me. For those who want to casually glance at it, it's not going to make much sense. But for those who want to stop, take a look, and even leave the odd comment... that's what it's all about.
