More thoughts on religious time commitment (me specific, not an essay)

Last night I was too tired to think coherently.

I am definitely going with the half an hour of religious related work per day with two days a week flex. Longer is OK, less is what the flex days are for. ( Schedule of sorts )

Unfortunately I don't have a lot there. I never took Buddhism classes except in an introduction to comparative religion type class (bare introductions to Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism and Chinese popular religion all in one semester).

Depending what you want to learn (basic intro stuff or sacred texts?) and what kind of Buddhism you want to learn about...

I think I would just go find a translation (of a version) of the Tripitaka. The Tripitaka will vary depending on which Buddhist school of thinking it's from.
