Short version: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Long version: Although last week was seriously busy with the job from hell and toddler party planning duties (and ended with the worst migraine of my life) I did manage to watch parts one and two Friday afternoon and part three about half an hour after it went live. Who knew NPH could sing? Evidently not me either. I commented to my hubby (after seeing part 2 for the first time) that that boy had chops and could easily do broadway since he's got presence as well as singing ability (could use a few voice lessons to fill in the gaps but man, he's pretty darned good for a 'child' star), and then I find out he HAS done broadway. Once More with Feeling is a MUST see. I was totally prepared to hate it, but it's easily in my top 3 Buffy episodes ever. (The Body and Fool for Love are my other two for those who care about such things, and no, I won't rank them since they're interchangable depending on my mood)

And Joss would be golden in my book simply for his screenplay for Toy Story, which is easily among the best buddy films ever penned, regardless of genre.

ANYhoo. Musically, this was brilliant. The vocal casting was perfection. Just that little editing cut to the shoulder roll in "With my Freezeray" was perfection.

Colour me muy pleased with the whole shebang. :)

Joss wrote the screenplay for Toy Story? I never knew that. The Toy Story movies aren't among my favourites by any means, but they're wonderfully done (and by that I mean screenplay, not computer generated stuff).

I can't wait to watch this again. And again. And again. Till I know the lyrics by heart. I was singing them this morning. That duet is one of the best things I've EVER heard.
