I hope you feel better, hon! While I'm not a doctor (and don't even play one on TV), it sounds like sciatica imho. My mom's having a really bad flare up of her sciatic nerve and she describes it the same way - back pain that shoots all the way down the leg. They prescribed her with Lyrica or something like that and it seems to be helping. I hope they can give you some groovy pills to make you all better!
