I was wondering, how do you get that rule of thirds thing inside when cropping?

Yay, glad you think so! :)

While you're cropping, there should be a dropdown menu at the top titled Crop Guide Overlay, and it should contain the option 'Rule of Thirds', like this. I use CS5 though so I have no idea if it's available in older versions!
